3 Local Charities receive Donations from Bastrop 1832 Farmers Market Farm to Table Event

On April 12 last month, almost 50 people enjoyed a delightful meal of delicious locally produced and grown fresh foods prepared by several great chefs and raised money for 3 Bastrop charities at the same time. Visit our website: www.bastrop1832farmersmarket.org  (Event Photos)to view pictures from the event.

On Friday, May 7, representatives of these 3 local charities came to the Market and received the donations collected from the Farm to Table event.

The Board of Directors of the Bastrop 1832 Farmers Market selected these charities for their service to Bastrop County communities in the areas of providing food for the needy and taking care of neglected and abused children. The Bastrop 1832 Farmers Market is a project of Bastrop Sustainable Agricultural Community, a non-profit 501 (c) (3) corporation.

Our mission includes running the Bastrop 1832 Farmers Market to provide Bastrop and the surrounding region with locally grown foods and farm products in direct farm-to-consumer marketing that serves a diverse population, preserves and promotes our local agriculture and improves the quality of life in the greater Bastrop County area.
