basil
Pesto
1 3/4 cups basil leaves packed
1/2 cup cashews, walnuts, pecans or pine nuts
1 cup olive oil
2 cloves garlic
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1/8 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper

Process with food processor, basil and garlic cloves. Add olive oil, salt and pepper to the mixture and blend. Add cashews and blend. Add parmesan cheese and blend until smooth.
